Game Room/Pool in the main building, a heated indoor pool, sauna and game room are available year round. In addition, the office area boasts a cozy fireplace room, a TV sitting area and Wi-Fi. The office also has a large assortment of videos and games for checkout. Pizzas, snacks, sodas, sweatshirts, ice, live bait and gas may be purchased at the resort.

Recreation for the active sports enthusiast, we have a tennis court, horseshoes, shuffle board, basketball, bikes, swim area, canoes, kayaks and pedal boat for our guests use at no charge. Playground equipment is located by the tennis court.

There is a safe, sandy, very gradual sloping beach which is ideal for both young and old alike. Farther out is a raft for better swimmers and sunbathers.

Fishing for the fisherman, the waters of the Lake Namakagon hold walleye, northern pike, musky, crappie, bass, perch, and bluegills. We have an enclosed, screened building for cleaning fish. Marine gas is available at the pier. Pontoon boat, fishing boat and 10 horse power motors may be rented on a daily or weekly basis. Gas, oil, tackle and live bait is offered at the resort. Either a 14’ aluminum boat or dock slip is furnished with the cottage.

FALL & WINTER
In the wintertime, everyone can appreciate the quiet beauty of the Northwoods with its blanket of white.

Snowmobiling is tremendous on the 500 miles of groomed trails in the vast Chequamegon National Forest with plenty of rest stops along the way. Gas is sold at the resort and a heated garage is available in case of a sled breakdown.

Cross country skiing is at its best with the Birkebiner Ski Trail and Rock Lake trails only 10-20 minutes from the resort. Eight kilometers of groomed ski trails lead out from the resort and there are numerous other trails in the area.

For added enjoyment, try our snowshoes or ice skating rink which is available in early winter. Set up your tip-ups for some ice fishing in front of the cabin or in many of the bays around the lake.

Several downhill ski areas are located within an hour's drive from Mogasheen.

During the fall months, hunters will find the Chequamegon National Forest a great hunting ground for deer, bear, grouse and duck.
